5 Ways to print from your Tablet or Phone

Have you ditched your computer for a tablet? More and more people all over the country are. They’re finding that tablets and smartphones can handle basic computer tasks.

But one problem area is printing. At first, it may seem complicated if you never printed from your device before, but once it’s all set up its actually really easy.

Best part is you don’t have to fight with cables and USB drives to get your digital documents into print form.

I’ve searched for a few apps to help you in your daily work and personal life when you’re always on the go. 

When using these apps, it will help to have an Apple or Google cloud account set up. 

1. THIN PRINT CLOUD PRINTER

ThinPrint connects your computer, smartphone and tablet to wirelessly print from wherever you may be. You will need to add your printer to the cloud, and after that, you can wirelessly print from anywhere as long as your home computer is on.

It’s perfect for the on-the-go business person because you can have your documents waiting for you at the office or at home.

There’s no need to fight with your computer and printer setup when you can simply tap a button and have your documents waiting for you.

2. GROOVEBOOK

The one problem with smartphone and tablet photos is that they can be a pain to print and organize. GrooveBook aims to change that. You may recognize this from the very popular ABC program, “Shark Tank.”

GrooveBook takes your smartphone and tablet photos and turns them into wonderful keepsake photo book for you to enjoy. You can easily tear each photo out of the book, so you can frame it, post it on the fridge, or put it in a scrapbook.

3. HP PRINT ENTERPRISE

The HP ePrint app for Apple and Android is just what you need for secure business document printing on the go. It seeks and maps nearby public locations of HP e-printers – hotels, copy shops and airport lounges – where you can print a document on the go.

Print photos, emails, Web pages, DropBox documents and more. 

4. PRINT N SHARE

Print n Share prints documents and converts PDFs, Web pages, photos and more on your mobile gadget so you can print to most wireless printers.

That means that you can be anywhere in your house or yard, and as long as you have a signal you can print your documents. Print n Share even supports some wired printers as long as the printer is on your wireless network.

This app is $5 for iPhone and iPad. There is not currently an Android app version available.

5. PRINT CENTRAL

Print to virtually any printer using Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth or a network connection without additional software. Print Central also prints over a 3G and 4G cellular connection, so you can print your documents anywhere you have a connection.

Print Central handles many document types with ease. You don’t have to stress out to print your emails, text messages, PDFs, and other documents. If it needs to be printed, Print Central can easily handle it.

This app is $4 for iPhone/iPod Touch and $8 for the Print Central Pro iPad version.
